It has been a very rough journey to make this film, since rejected by Finas (National Film Development of Malaysia) for CGI fund for 3 consecutive years since 20013, finally Finas agreed to fund the film for CGI portions which is about RM800K.
I started the pre-production and in 2015, and it took a year of preparation to start the principal photography. This is to make sure everything is very intact and no faults during the shoot. For the 1st time, all CGI and action shots are pre visualized with animated storyboarding. Video boards for fully choreographed action scenes are done way before in pre-production stage. Shooting in
Malaysia and Jog Jakarta went well except some political issues in Jog Jakarta which delayed the shooting, thank God, we managed to complete it
